Freddflation: it's happening.

You need to understand the context of what's been happening to our beloved chocolate. You need to understand...Freddflation.

It All Started When I was Young

I remember when I was younger...one of the great joys of life was the Freddo. A solid chunk of happiness to brighten up anyones' day. But surely one of the most joyous aspects of this treat...was is price.

Sitting at a lowly 10p - yes, that's 10 pence - it was so affordable it almost hurt.

But much water has flowed under the bridge since then.

The Maths

An investigation for ForkMyLife has discovered some staggering results...when I was younger, I could get a Freddo for 10 pence...but now, I'd have to shell out 26 pence.

That's an increase of 260%. If that doesn't sound wrong to you, have a look at the this graph.

Exactly, not funny anymore, is it? But it get's worst, at some shops...the price has risen to 30p?!

Pack your bag and head to bunker...it's a sign people, it's a sign.

Protest Against Freddo Inflation

There's even a protest in Sheffield about it! You will need to go to Sheffield, but this is something we can't let happen. Solidarity.
